a girl thinking to write

Writing is gratification. Anyone can write. Of course, you can be a pro-writer someday but…

Do you think you can write? Is that all you need a pen and paper, a lap, or a tab on your tap to write an essay or prose? How to become a writer? How to become an author?

A lot of questions!!! Yes, Questions can help you solve your problems. So question yourself.

First of all,

Why do you want to see yourself, as a writer?

Writing always starts with a tool. A pair of tools must communicate with each other like pen and paper, keyboard, and monitor to see you write something.

Either one alone exists, there is no Writing. Could you deny it? But there exists another tool, the prime one to write. Guess who? That’s You.

Without an author, there is no book written in this world. Writing gives you freedom. You can write anything unless it doesn’t harm or criticize someone. The writing explores opportunities around the world. Content writer, Blogger, Scriptwriter, these are all the destinations a writer wants to travel to.

Writers will write, well they keep on writing. They practice, again and again, but how do they practice?

They write a blog, sell products, and make money.

They practice writing scripts and get them produced (If the production house greenlit your work). You could even write a box office hit too, my best wishes.

Visualize the opportunities around you. Writing is another dimension, a domain where you can showcase your talents.

What makes you, a writer?

Most of the people in the field of literary may be a novice or pro, they must have one thing in common.

‘Is that they write?’ Yeah, it could be but the conspicuous thing in their writing career is whether they read BOOKS!

The answer to your question is “Yes, you can write. Cheers!!” but on one condition. To become a writer, You need to read* a lot! *conditions apply.

Reading books explore your grey matter. You could feel the adrenaline rush inside your brain bursting ideas out of it. Really, I felt it.

The Magic!!!

It builds your word power, constructs your sentence, and sets up a strong foundation for your writing career. You can’t stop yourself from becoming a writer.

You will say ‘Somebody stop me!’ as Jim Carrey said.

Have you ever heard of jargon among the writers? The Writer’s Block! Have you?

Only the writer can experience it. A Pro-writer knows, Reading books is the only key to open writer’s block.

It is where you get stuck, you will get confused, and you will be blank Where to start? What’s your next move… in your current project? Books open your eyes and guide you to the next level.

Books were of many types so that you can’t count on your fingers. Science fiction, fantasy, drama, comics, diaries, fairies, it goes on and on. See you can’t count on it.

Likewise, the knowledge you get from books. Knowledge is infinity. It serves you well for your needs.

When you read a cookbook (maybe a few), you become a little chef to your family and surprise them with new desserts and cookies.

When you read a superhero comic, you will get into his world of action. You come to know that how did he/she identify his/her powers and abilities to battle his enemy and saves the world someday.

When you read a Travel book, you could explore some of the finest places in this beautiful world… Who knows someday you might travel to one of those destinations.

It’s all that you chose what you become. History’s some of the finest scholars know its significance and see what they have found…

“a room without books is like a body without a soul.” — Says Cicero, a Roman Academic philosopher.

Researchers, authors, scholars, comic writers, bloggers were like you in their childhood. One day they became book worms, digs deep into the bookshelves, opened up a new portal… to travel to another realm, a new universe.

Books that created History…

There are books that sold over a solid 100 million copies worldwide like The Alchemist, The Hobbit, Harry Potter, and the Philosopher’s stone and go on. These are some of the best books of all time.

In the past year of 2019, the total printed books sold out is 689.45 million units globally, says the stat. Witness, the volume of readers.

You could also join them by being a bookworm. JK Rowling, the much-loved author or say the author for the much-loved series of the Harry Potter novels, wrote her first book “Rabbit” at the age of six. Can you imagine it? A writer at the age of six.

When you are playing a see-saw or playing with your Lego toys, someone became a book author close to your age.

Wow! It’s proven that a writer has no age constraint. So what’s next? Would you like to become a writer/author at your age or on your next birthday?

You can present your own published book (maybe a best-seller) to your mom and dad, on your birthday.

Last-piece of this article says…

To become a writer, start reading books!!! Well… Keep Reading!!! To write a masterpiece for this known universe.
